1) Sponge base – razz up 45 secs in food processor, bake, cool, freeze
2) Fruity topping – warm red fruits with a little icing sugar, pinch of ground cinnamon, star anise and clove, puree, freeze
3) Ice cream – make and freeze or buy
4) Weigh out the meringue ingredients the night before
Take sponge and puree out of freezer Choose your dish Assemble all ingredients in same place
Whilst others are clearing the table wizz up the meringue, 4 minutes, assemble Alaska, 4 minutes, colour with blow torch and serve! How easy was that?
