I hope that your family’s Christmas celebrations were simply magical.

Now that you’ve made it through the Christmas celebrations and are finished with all the planning and prep, the last thing on your mind may be to throw another party.

However, if you don’t already have plans to attend a festive New Year’s Eve party, but would still like to spend the evening in good company, you can still put together a low-key celebration by keeping things simple.

Why not invite over a handful of friends and neighbors to ring in the New Year together?

champagne !You don’t have to do the preparations alone either. You can invite a few friends over to assist and agree on a potluck style meal.

If you are simply not in the mood to cook another meal, you and your friends can agree to compile all of your tasty leftovers or use frozen meals to make things simple. If you are in the mood to whip up a few things, Chef Lyon’s Easy Appetizers are always a hit.

If you’re still considering your New Year’s resolutions, why not make one of them a goal of trying a new meal each week? You can start with this tasty Savoury Pumpkin and Squash Tart with Bacon Bits.

Don’t forget to grab a bottle of bubbly and toast to another wonderful year!
